Tour Solvers ("we", "us", "our") operates an online platform that connects pilgrims and families with licensed Hajj and Umrah agencies, including tools for discovery, consultation, booking, payments, and spiritual resources.

2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account details — name, email, phone, password (stored securely), language preferences.
- Booking & travel information — package selections, travel dates, group members, passport or ID details when required for a booking, mahram and compliance declarations.
- Communications — messages with agencies or support, consultation requests, complaints, and reviews.
- Payment-related metadata — transaction references and amounts (card details are handled by payment partners, not stored in full on our servers).
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device & log data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps, and security logs.
- Cookies & similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy.
- Approximate location — derived from IP or settings (e.g. prayer times, currency).
2.3 Information from agencies and partners
When you book through an agency on our platform, that agency may provide updates about your booking status, documents, or invoices. We process this to operate the marketplace and your account.
3. How we use your information
- Provide, secure, and improve the platform and your account.
- Facilitate bookings, payments, notifications, and customer support.
- Verify identity, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
- Send service messages (booking updates, security alerts). Marketing emails only where permitted and with opt-out.
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

If you are in the UK, EEA, or similar jurisdictions, we rely on: contract performance (bookings), legitimate interests (security, analytics, product improvement), consent (optional cookies/marketing where required), and legal obligation.

When you book with an Agency, that Agency is an independent controller for operational booking data they receive. We share data with Agencies only as needed to facilitate your request.
Legal bases (Article 6 GDPR)
- Contract — account, inquiries, bookings, support.
- Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, analytics, product improvement (balanced against your rights).
- Consent — optional marketing emails and non-essential cookies where required.
- Legal obligation — tax, regulatory, and law enforcement requests.
Your rights
You may request: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to certain processing. Withdraw consent for marketing at any time via unsubscribe or account settings.
We respond within one month (extendable by two months for complex requests). Email privacy@toursolvers.com with proof of identity where needed.
International transfers
Data may be processed in Bangladesh, the EU, UK, US, or other regions where our subprocessors operate. We use appropriate safeguards (e.g. UK IDTA / EU SCCs) where required.
Supervisory authority
You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or your local EU data protection authority.
Automated decisions
We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you. Fraud scoring may flag accounts for human review.
5. Who we share information with
- Agencies you book with — contact and booking data needed to deliver your package.
- Service providers — hosting, email, payments, analytics, error monitoring, and media delivery (under contracts requiring appropriate safeguards).
- Authorities — when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell personal information to data brokers.
6. International transfers
Our infrastructure and partners may process data outside your country (including Bangladesh and other regions). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
7. How long we keep data
- Account data — while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure.
- Booking & financial records — as required for tax, dispute resolution, and regulatory obligations (often several years).
- Marketing preferences — until you withdraw consent or object.
- Security logs — typically up to 12–24 months unless needed for investigations.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, access controls, row-level security on our database, and staff permission policies. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; please use a strong password and protect your login.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise rights, email privacy@toursolvers.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (UK: ICO).
